Starting October 1st, 2021 the British Virgin Islands relaxed their entry requirements slightly for passengers who are fully vaccinated. For these persons, an entry permit is no longer required but you will still have to obtain a COVID Test no more than 5 days before your arrival and provide proof of vaccination. A rapid-test will still be administered upon arrival. In other words, this eliminates the wait for an approval for entry and also the “quarantine” requirements. Unvaccinated passengers can travel to the BVI but they have to register for and obtain an entry permit first. Each fully vaccinated passenger inbound to the BVI is required to register their arrival so as to inform the Public Health accordingly. For arrival at the Terrance B. Lettsome International airport on Beef Island, follow this link to register: airport.bvi.care See the file below for more details. ![]()
COVID Testing is now available at the SJU Airport at Terminal A, B & C.
As an alternative to a negative test, travelers arriving to Puerto Rico can also self-quarantine at their expense for either 14 days or for as long as it takes to obtain a negative test, or the duration of their trip whichever is shorter. To facilitate access to test with rapid turnaround of results, CMT Group Corp has partnered with Aerostar Airports LLC, the management of San Juan Luis Muñoz Marin (SJU) International Airport to provide molecular testing for all travelers that are coming in or going out of the island who desire to have the test performed with guaranteed result within 24-48 hours. More information can be found here: https://www.covidtestingpr.com/Airport Of course, testing remains not required if you are in transit to another destination out of Puerto Rico.
